3D Battle zone
The Game
Battle Zone is the machine code zap game for the Aquarius, which zaps anything in site.
The story: You are Sergeant "Bulls-Eye Biker". Your order are "The enemy has broken through the mountains and over the river they will annihilate our entire force. We are equipping you with the newest 3D Tankplaneship gun. You must hold them back for at least 24hrs." Your gun has twin heat seeking lazers, which you can use on the fighter planes as they zig zag in and out of the snow clad mountains. Rumbling across the plains are the titanium shielded monster tanks which only a direct hit wil destroy. Finally dashing across the river are the oil tankers, troop carriers, freighters carrying all the enemy needs to make war. These need a lob shot from your 3D-Cannon to land on the water down in the valley below.
The reality: This machine code game written by Kevin Baker has some of the best graphics ever written for the Aquarius. Battle Zone is one of the best tests of your shooting ability. The gun is telescopic and can be ranged and sighted. Shooting the ships, tanks and planes is exactly akin to the real life shooting of duck, pigeon or clay pigeon shooting.
Battle Zone is the game to buy if you really think you have good reflexes and potential shooting ability.
